Imagine seeing various doctors for a host of symptoms that most certainly meant I had a dire health condition: A slight swelling at my jaw most certainly was a brain tumor, mild tingling meant I had muscular sclerosis, itchy skin meant I had a serious liver condition, etc. For 30+ years, I suffered like this and found it getting worse to the point it was dominating my life. Out of desperation I googled "hypochondria" and stumbled onto Ken's YouTube video in which he talked about health anxiety, a term I'd never heard before. It was like a light bulb went off and I immediately signed up for his health anxiety zoom class and enjoyed it so much.

Ken has an incredible amount of knowledge on this and with his low key, easy going personality and dry humor, and the support of my fellow classmates, he made the class a safe place to practice techniques and understand how to be in charge whenever the health anxiety resurfaced.

It's been over a year and I've gone from daily panic attacks about my health to virtually zero because I've retrained myself to challenge and react differently which has calmed my brain and nervous system down. I’ve had anxiety and OCD for as long as I can remember. At the time I signed up for Ken’s Health Anxiety class, I had reached a constant, unsustainable level of health anxiety. Any little feeling or sensation in my body sent me right into a spiral. I’d feel something, Google, panic about whatever I found online, then feel more sensations due to the panic, and google again. I went in circles for weeks and at times found myself in the ER, insisting something really was wrong. I tried medication, breathing techniques, therapy, workbooks, podcasts - nothing helped.

I was googling health anxiety and came across Ken’s class. The fact that it was virtual was a huge plus, since I live across the country. I wasn’t sure what to expect, unsure if this would be money well spent, but I am ecstatic to say that it was 100% worth it.

There were so many great things about Ken’s class. For one, Ken is extremely kind and very patient, as were all of my classmates. When I spoke about my fears in Ken’s class, he and my fellow classmates all shook their heads and said "yep, been there before!" They understood me. Ken taught actual ways to combat my fears and deal with my physical sensations, and each little suggestion added up to big changes.

When I first reached out to Ken, I was in the darkest season of my life. Where to start… After suffering from health anxiety for the last 14 years and trying numerous sites, books, and therapy, I was still battling my health anxiety. I came across Ken on someone’s YouTube channel, where he was speaking about health anxiety and the people he had helped. From his explanation of how to combat the issue, I knew Ken had a true understanding of health anxiety and how to help people overcome it.
From the first class, Ken outlined exactly what I experienced when my anxiety rises. During the classes, Ken gave me the tools and understanding to fight the monster and techniques to expose myself to situations that would help combat my anxiety. All I can say is, trust the process! I mean it—trust the process and put the tools to work!
My life has drastically changed since working with Ken. A year after our last class, I started experiencing a medical symptom. I used the tools Ken taught me, and during my little issue, I never googled, panicked, or looked for reassurance. I stuck to the program, and when I felt my monster creeping up, I put the techniques to work.

Ken's health anxiety class literally changed my life. I had been fighting health anxiety for over 15 years and tried various approaches to managing it, and nothing had worked previously.
